Raphaëlle Bayard
Lawyer
Raphaëlle Bayard holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Fribourg, which she completed after an academic exchange year at the University of Copenhagen. She began her career in the corporate sector, gaining valuable experience in the legal department of an insurance company, operating across both German- and French-speaking regions of Switzerland. She later earned her Certificate of Specialization in Law from the University of Geneva.
After completing her legal internship with a Geneva law firm, she was admitted to the bar in 2016. Immediately thereafter, Raphaëlle Bayard established her own law firm, embarking on her journey as an independent lawyer. In 2020, she joined REGO Avocats as a partner.
Raphaëlle is primarily active in the legal field, with core expertise in personal and family law, labor law, the law of obligations, inheritance law, and criminal proceedings.
Over the years, she has developed significant expertise in labor law, advising both employers and employees, in adult protection law, where she acts as both lawyer and curator, and in inheritance law, where she serves as an administrator on behalf of the Justice of the Peace.

Alexia Haut

Alexia Haut earned her law degree from the University of Geneva in 2006, followed by a bilingual Master’s degree in general law from the Universities of Basel and Geneva in 2007. After spending several months studying in the United States, she began her legal internship and was admitted to the bar in 2010.
For nearly 15 years, Alexia practiced law with De Weck, Perren & Zoells (now DWZ Avocats), gaining extensive experience in corporate and tax law. She has further honed her expertise through specialized training, including a CAS in SME Taxation from the University of Neuchâtel. Jacques-Alain Bron earned his law degree from the University of Geneva in 2000. His academic journey was enriched by studies at the HSG in St. Gallen and the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. After completing his legal internship with an internationally renowned law firm, he was admitted to the bar in 2002.
With over two decades of uninterrupted practice, Jacques-Alain has acquired extensive experience in handling complex cases. Specializing in various aspects of real estate law, he earned a diploma from the Institut d'Études Immobilières (IEI) in Geneva in 2010. His expertise includes land use planning, co-ownership, construction, and leasing law. As a lecturer for Geneva real estate associations and a former condominium administrator, he brings a dynamic and informed perspective to this sector's challenges.

Peter Pirkl

Peter Pirkl was admitted to the bar in 1991, beginning his career in criminal law. Early on, an immersion in an experimental prison unit shaped his approach, emphasizing the integration of fieldwork with legal analysis. He later joined the Department of Criminal Law at the University of Geneva as an assistant and completed a postgraduate master’s degree in law, focusing on the intersection of enforcement and criminal law.
His professional journey led him to the head of the bankruptcy division at the “Arve-Lac” debt collection and bankruptcy office in Geneva, marking the beginning of his specialization in forced execution. In 1999, he established his first law firm.
Peter’s meticulous approach was further honed during his tenure as an investigator for the former Swiss Federal Banking Commission. He has since developed a recognized expertise in forced execution, particularly in bankruptcy matters and negotiation. He frequently acts as a liquidator, special administrator in bankruptcies, trustee in bankruptcy, curator, and member of creditors' supervisory committees.

Bernhard Sträuli

Bernhard Sträuli completed his legal studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Geneva, earning a licence in 1985, a diplôme d'études supérieures in 1992, and a doctorate in 1994. He was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 1987.
Bernhard began teaching at the University of Geneva's Faculty of Law in 1995 and was appointed full professor in 2008. Over the years, he has taught a variety of subjects, including criminal procedure (Geneva, until 2010), Swiss criminal procedure (until 2015), and currently, general criminal law, focusing on the fundamental conditions of punishability.
His deep interest in research and legal innovation keeps him closely attuned to legislative and various branches of criminal science.
Between 2000 and 2008, Bernhard served as a legal secretary at the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic and Canton of Geneva, gaining valuable practical experience in criminal justice.
